Bernie joins workers who serve food at the Capital in a nationwide strike, who wants the minimum wage raised to $15 an hour. Hillary has stated she would like to see the minimum wage raised to $12 an hour. Meanwhile, in New York, Governor Cuomo announced he will increase the minimum wage for state workers to $15 an hour. New York will be the first state to do so.

Woot woot!!!

We're already having to bail out red states.

NYS pays $1.27 for every dollar of federal funding it receives. It's probably bailing your state out.

The fact that Hillary and Bernie can't even agree on a set number for what min wage or a living wage should be tells the whole story. The whole issue is based on arbitrary numbers pulled directly out of their greedy welfare dependent base.

Go ahead and raise that min wage, like Seattle you will see over a length of time a slow deterioration. The truth usually lies somewhere inbetween, on one hand there are threats that if the min wage goes up employers will fire people and close shop... On the other side of the spectrum employee's claim they will make more and have a better life.

Reality is probably less people will have jobs as business cuts cost in one of the few areas it can (payroll) while those that still have the job will have to be the more productive employees but they will make slightly more.

Basically a net drag over time as less jobs equal less opportunity. Slightly more in pay means cost of living will drive upwards quicker than it wages stayed stagnate, meaning over time less people will be working for relative what they were making prior to the fake increase in wages while those that lost jobs will only be that much more behind and dependent on Welfare.

Once again this can only be based on the reality that our current and prior situations have produced.

Ahahaha enjoy your life making $15 an hour on the Democratic party plantation fools. If you save up maybe you can buy a used 10 year old car and some furniture at the local Goodwill store.

Which ones? I haven't heard of any under bankruptcy. I knew the city of Detroit was but not the State of Michigan itself.

Probably? Maybe? I'll bet? What kind of argument is that?

That two candidates running for the same office will have differing opinions? Or that it gives the lie to the GOOPer myth that all liberals think alike?

I guess Democrats don't all share the same brain. Sheesh!

The poor and middle class were far better off under Bush than these loser Democrats.

Perhaps New Yorkers should stop voting for politicians who engage in wealth redistribution.

That must be why Kansas is doing so good, f

Till everything crashed at the end of bush's term. Republicans are dogs that will never do anything for the working stiffs even when they're not driving the country into recessions and depressions.

Democrats took over congress during the final 2 years of the Bush presidency and things quickly went to shit on their watch, shocker.

Until Sep 2008.

Who took over congress in Jan 2007? Yes the Democrats. Who argued there was nothing wrong at Fannie or Freddie when Bush raised the alarm? Yes the Democrats. Who are too gutless to take responsibility? Yes the Democrats.

And who kept bleating on about how GW was a genius for going along with the Dems?
Rush; I listened to the blowhard until the day Obama took office.
Don't ask for a link as nobody linked Rush's every word in the early to mid 2000s.
