I would imagine smaller sizes concentrates the flavor better except perhaps the beefsteak tomato those are great, I actually make sandwiches out just those [with mayo of course]Apparently the bigger they get they lose flavour. Rather sad.
Try making a strawberry-rhubarb pie with those little suckers. Lotta work but it doesn't get much better.The best strawberries are the wild ones. Very small and must be eaten within 30 minutes of picking, but their flavor is as intense as powdered strawberry jello mix.
