The Ayatollahs, like Putin, have long since sized up Obama. They might be reassured in their conclusions to see Obama dump a Bigboy problem on Congress, but they were reassured before when he put such a meek limit to His Proposed Response.

He has already promised he would be there only two or three days, drop a few bombs...be gone by Friday.

The Ayatollahs are laughing at that...and trying to see how to seize on the opportunity.

In short, we don't have to worry about looking weak...we already do. All that is at issue in this momentous Congressional vote is a slap on the wrist of a puppet. Obama promises they won't take him down. He is just going to produce a few more martyrs to drive the hatred of America. Iran is o. k. with that.

We should do nothing at all, spend our time getting ready for the next President to deal with the real threat in Iran....or we should kick Assad's ass as bad as can be done without putting troops in country.

As Obama blinks on Syria, Israel, Saudis make common cause

Israel and Saudi Arabia have little love for each other but both are pressing their mutual friend in the White House to hit President Bashar al-Assad hard. And both do so with one eye fixed firmly not on Syria but on their common adversary - Iran.

This is what is so crazy. Buchanan made a great case of this the other day. That the fall of Syria's Assad was just to back door Iran.
