The Navy is not a naval transportation company.

Maritime experience is maritime experience. She's a great hire for US Maritime Administrator

is xiden planning on going to war with the cargo ships? why does he need Gov Blackface’s asst that has loads of warfare experience to unload ships?

And Pete Buttigieg is our transportation chief because he likes trains.

Par for the course for Brandon with 50 years in public office with zero accomplishments yet is a multi-millionaire.

Joeflation is God's Punishment on America!

She was picked as US Maritime Administrator. That kind of involves more than shipping.

not really it’s all about transportation and logistics not warfare

Headquartered in Washington, DC, the U.S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration - MARAD is responsible for waterborne transportation. The agency maintains the National Defense Reserve Fleet for use during national emergencies, as well as logistically supports the military as needed, such as providing surge sea-lifts during a war. The Maritime Administration is vested with residual powers beneath the Director of National Shipping Authority to organize and direct emergency merchant marine operations. Its mission is to promote waterborne transportation and integrate it with other components of the U.S. transportation system and the success of the U.S. merchant marine.

The U.S. Maritime Administration administers financial programs to develop, advance, and operate the U.S. maritime service and the U.S. merchant marine; determines services pertinent to developing and maintaining American foreign commerce and stipulations for ships and vessels that provide services on these routes; coordinates maritime research and development; monitors the transfer of U.S. vessels to foreign nations; and maintains equipment for government-owned fleets. Moreover, MARAD works across a multitude of areas related to ships and shipping, including port operations, shipbuilding, national security, vessel operations, environment, and safety.

As an employer, the Maritime Administration conducts its hiring through its parent organization, the U.S. DOT. Along with other agencies beneath its umbrella, this agency adheres to the Veterans Council (DVC) initiative, which is designed to support active veterans and men and women transitioning back into the workforce after serving. In the past, MARAD has offered full-time, remote jobs commensurate with relevant education and experience.

Biden appointed her. In her younger days she used to 'spike' trees prior to them being cut - basically it is booby-trapping trees with spikes, causing them to explode when cut, sending shrapnel flying, injuring the tree cutters.
Oh, I know about her past. I was just hoping, surely to gawd, she wouldnt have been confirmed.

Yeah I know what the DOT does....wish in this crisis created by Xiden and the demafacist cult, that we had someone with experience to get us out of it....the mid-terms can't get her soon enough to try and help undo this mess
