FALSE! The president has a lot of control over the economy, as shown in Post # 34. A major part of the economy is within the stock market, so the president has a lot of control there too.

As for thinking of and writing legislation, making proposals to Congress for legislation is one of the prime duties of every US president. Back to the 8th grade for you.
