Biden needs to use the "War Powers Act" to pump more oil before store shelves are empty

Should Joe Biden use the "War Powers Act" to pump US oil before grocery store shelves empty?

I said either "regulations or lawsuits" dropped US daily oil production from 13m BPD in 2020 to 11.5m BPD now. Those wells are still there, so why aren't they producing at 2020 levels? It has to be Biden.
That's 1,500,000 BPD of oil production we had in 2020 that we don't have in 2022.
We had that oil production at cheap oil prices, $50/bbl, and now its over $130/bbl.
So its not the oil industry, its Biden's war on energy.
You’re fucking retarded.

You guys are nuts. Complain about big government all the time and now you want the federal government to take over the oil industry? How about trusting the market forces you commies!!!!!!
They do work if they are not manipulated...but that hasn't been the case since the oil market was actually established by JD himself.

There may not be any other way to keep grocery store shelves from becoming empty than for Biden to use the "War Powers Act" to cut thru the "red tape" and regulations keeping a cap on oil wells. Trucks will be stopping soon if diesel fuel costs keep rising.

Do you support Biden using the War Powers Act to pump as much US oil as possible? (Poll)
Hate to rain on your thread, but the law is called the Defense Production Act and was passed in 1950.

When Trump left oil production was DOWN. Businesses were SHUT DOWN. When gas was $2 unemployment was 14.7%. Great job Trump!!!!
Trump had impact on unemployment because the high unemployment rate was caused by states and companies going into lockdown,

I recall locals manning the closed local truck stops with signs posted on the highway they were giving away free food because the drivers had no place to eat. Finally after 3 months, our libtard governor saw what his lockdown was doing to the state and relented.

You can't debate so you must be one of those low-IQ democrats.
The price of diesel fuel and gas will make democrats unelectable for generations.
I asked you for the policy then you changed your time and said nothing. Face it. You’re stupid. If it’s Biden’s policies why are oil companies making record profits? Why is drilling up from Trump’s last year or first year? There was one year where oil was put out higher than this year and it was pre Covid. You know where it big shortfall is? OPEC down about 4M barrels a day from precovid levels where Trump negotiated it down to. Good fucking job Trump.

The irrational markets could lower the prices without glutting the market with oil. That actually increases costs as it's more expensive to store it above ground than below.
How do you tell or influence “irrational markets” to lower prices?

Prog agendas kill people. Ostensibly spouting it is to help people. We have been taxed to the rafters to produce generations that are malignantly ignorant with many without use. All of this for them to become Prog voters.

I would go back to the way oil used to be traded. Only those who actually use the oil can bid on it.

You take possession of the oil as opposed to a piece of paper.

And it's not about "lowering" prices. There was nothing rational about oil at $13 a barrel either.

The "policies' are Xiden's "war on energy".
Xiden said he would eliminate fossil fuels by 2030, he and the greenies are doing everything they can to do that.
You keep throwing dumb excuses out why oil is so expensive: Putin, OPEC, greedy oil companies, etc.
I gave you the answer many times, Trump had the US "energy independent" in 2019 and 2020. We EXPORTED oil. Now Xiden is begging Putin, OPEC, Venezuela, and even Iran to pump more oil. How fucking stupid is that?
Why we can't get back to the 2020 US production levels now that demand has oil over $100/bbl?
The oil companies say its Biden EOs and the nuisance lawsuits. Here is the US oil production chart, there is no good reason why we can't get back to 2020 production levels, those wells should still be in production.

Is the War On Energy more tangible than the War on Christmas? I mean… you continue to just broadly claim because Joe rightly believes we need to transition to renewable energy there is something that he passed or implemented to slow oil production. What is that tangible thing? The reason you simply go to generic feelings is because that’s all you have. How about some honesty?

What is that tangible thing? The reason you simply go to generic feelings is because that’s all you have. How about some honesty?
Lets look at a few HONEST FACTS:
1. The US was energy independent under Trump
2. The US pumped 13.5m BPD in 2020
3. The US EXPORTED oil in 2020
4. Those production wells are still there
5. Biden promised to eliminate fossil fuels by 2030
6. Biden issued EOs to support his "war on energy"
7. Now US production is 1,500,000 bbls, a day less than in 2020, why?
8. Xiden wants "bad actors" to pump more oil, Iran, OPEC, Russia, Venezuela, etc.
9. Xiden killed the KeystoneXL pipeline that would have increased the oil supply
10. Jen Psaki keeps saying that when Xiden killed the Keystone XL pipeline that had zero effect on oil supply because the oil just went via other routes. That is a lie. Oil production w/o KeystoneXL is 500,000 bbls less per day.
1647260129177.png

11. So if we add the 500,000 bpd for KeystoneXL to the 1,500,000 bpd of lost US oil production that is 2m bpd less oil supply that we could/should have had.
12. I don't see any initiative by Xiden to "transition" to EVs. We don't have enough computer chips or rare earth metals for car batteries to "transition". So Joe is doing nothing but punishing Americans with artificially high fuel costs.

The left wanted these high fuel prices anyway, they were soaring long before this war started. Now they blame all of Bidens inflation on this three-week-old war too.

They don't want to go to work anyway so they don't care what these prices do to working people. These prices don't really hurt the successful people they hate so bad, at least not yet. but they are financially destroying the working poor and gutting the middle class. Its the people the left hurt more than anyone else that used to be the soul of the democratic party. The democratic party I supported for decade after decade... I won't support the far left, never in 20 eternities, they are not real democrats and never will be, hell, they can't even figure out if they are male or female even if they look down their own shorts.. It's time for the normal, rational people of America to standup and take back the Democrats from the deviants, the socialists, and the incompetents.

People you have vote out these idiots THIS November or it will be too late by '24. The only way to slow the stupidity is to remove the fools who control Biden and remove the rubber stamp he has in congress. Then nominate a sane rational and pragmatic leader to be our next president n 24. One who is not already in the middle stages of dementia.
This is true. The poor people will just get their government money increased. It‘s the middle class who is suffering, and the retirees on fixed incomes most of all.

Ok dipshit. Let’s exclude the price crash of 2015 and 2020 due to external factors which impacted demand. What do you see here?

Feel free to applaud my iPhone editing skills. They are amazing.

Why isn’t any righty asking why Trump didn’t raise the output to peak on the first day in office?

Wow. Just wow. He cannot use the War Powers Act to cut through the laws of physics. That is generally what keeps a cap on an oil well. Sometimes they can get the flow to resume but they often have to re-drill a new production borehole.

Why would he need the war powers act to fix what he fucked up with EO’s? All the moron has to do is reverse his shit policies.

That said, your last red line goes from the bottom of the dip to the top, if you draw another line just along the peaks you would see that the slope for Xiden is MUCH slower than for Obama or Trump.
Why is Xiden's rate of output gain so slow? Could it be his war on energy? Is that why the price of oil is skyrocketing?
Xiden's rate of US oil production needs to increase, he's 2m bbl a day below where it should be.
He should approve KeystoneXL.
His "transition" to EVs or "renewables" sucks. He's just a green clown.
