With all the blame targeting cops for targeting blacks,
I'm glad to see at least one story showing law enforcement as heroes.

In this case, a distraught dad tried to drown his 3 kids in the apt pond.
But the apt manager called a deputy who jumped in to pull the 2 daughters out.
(I think the stories indicate the son got away and ran for help.)

Since this story is old, but just now circulating online, I'm sure it is to
counteract the negative press, especially with this story coming out of North Carolina.

Deputy saves drowning kids in dark pond; dad is arrested

There was one comment that was sympathetic with the dad's plight
and attributes some of the blame to CPS for making these matters worse.

I agree there needs to be more support for parents, and young people before they become parents,
instead of waiting until children get abused, neglected or killed before intervening.

911 AUDIO: Dad charged with attempted murder after trying to drown his kids in a pond

This isn't just a black/white issue but about compassion for humanity, and helping people in trouble.

Before you know it, the BLM will include the spilling of the seed...
How you manage to sustain such obtuse reference while remaining relevance amazes me.

Still... You have earned one Brotch-slap. :slap:
I owe it all to many years of situation comedies...
Yup. I may have found my brother in arms.

... nah :slap:
Who's arms....??
To's arms. Study your history. :slap:

Did anyone get pregnant?

After saving the kids that cop should have beat the shit out of that "dad", perhaps force fed him a diet high in lead content.

No, the police are not supposed to act as judges and juries.
And the judges are not supposed to act as legislators.
Just because the govt has been setting bad examples lately of 'separation of powers' doesn't mean we should jump in and follow that same mob mentality of taking justice into our own hands.

That's the problem with people abusing media to accuse, condemn and destroy people
without allowing proper defense and due process first.

This is not a matter of black lives or cops mattering more than others, but everyone enjoying equal protection of the law, including the right to due process, instead of presuming guilt by association and smashing each other to bits to prove who's boss.
