Speaking of Jimmy Carter, he is against us going into Syria as well. Jimmy has had several negative things to say about this dictatorship oppressing America. Here is what Carter stated last Friday:

91% of Americans are against this war. From the far left to the far right, nobody wants this attack on Syria except, war whore extremists. What's in it for war whores like McCain, Graham, Kerry, Boehner, Obama, Cantor and other elected war whores? I can be more forgiving of American citizens (non-politicians) who want this, there's clearly 9% of America who can't think for themselves.

Also, while I disagree with them on about everything, props to Democrats Alan Grayson, Charlie Rangel, and Jim McDermott, and Republicans like Rand Paul who are vocally against this attack on Syria. Thanks to any Democrat or Republican who is against this and actually listening to the 91%

If your ballot includes third party candidates for congress, find one that mirrors your views on US foreign policy and vote AGAINST the twin factions of the War Party. Obviously, millions of voters would have to be convinced they weren't "wasting" their vote, but maybe that's what the internet was made for?

And WHAT is a "THIRD PARTY CANDIDATE" anyway?

CARE to define that for the rest of the class?

My 2014 ballot will give me a choice of 3-5 candidates without a "R" or "D" bloodstain behind their names. It isn't likely a Libertarian or Green candidate who unexpectedly finds herself in congress would owe the same loyalty to the vested corporate interests that Democrats AND Republicans do.

That could open a Second Constitutional Convention which would give all of us tinkers a big DAMN say in where this Republic is heading.

It's the STATE LEGISLATUREs, (not Congress) that can call for a Constitutional convention, George.

That probably will not happen until the MASTERS feel entirely confident that they will have total control over that convention.

Then they will; BALKANIZE the USA into 50 petty fiefdoms that are easily cowed.
