At 7am, it inched up to 3.3C.

Matt Bass, meteorologist from BOM, said the region was well below our average temperatures.

“If it felt cold, that’s because it was, breaking that record is pretty phenomenal for Brisbane,” Bass said.

“The average for this time of year is 12C, so Brisbane was about 9C below average, it is pretty impressive really, to have the coldest morning in 103 years is a big record.”

The coldest place across the state was Oakey which got down to -6.1C, which was the coldest temperature for the town since 2011.​

For example, they ignore the science that the US has cooled since 1998/1999. Completely ignore it.

They say that the unborn child is something other then an un born child, again denying science. Or then they will say that life doesn't start until the first breath, if ever there was religious hocky pocky that would be it.

Or they deny evolution with say that homosexuality is natural.

Did you also know that in 2012 over 10,200 scientists were asked to answer a survey on global warming and only 77 replied. Of the 77, 75 stated yes to its existence. (And none of those climate scientists that have been verbally loud against global warming occurring received the survey. ) Thus where they get the 97% figure that agree, never divulging over 10,000 did not even answer the survey. An anonymous 2 minute survey.
The 2007 ipcc report? Claimed 2500 agreed, turns out it was actually 25.

We used to call it weather.

In the discussion of climate change, climate disruption or global warming weather has no meaning. Of course the weather is the measure used to evaluate CC/CD/GW but other then that it is meaningless, especially when the temperature goes down.

Have you ever noticed that very complex systems (like our climate) have the tendency to exhibit strange fluctuations in what was once normal operations right before they collapse?

Like maybe the weather patterns will get very odd and extreme as the climate system moves toward a collapse in the distant future.

Just curious if you ever noticed that happening.

Our complex wealther system has always exhibited strange fluctuations with large cold spikes and large warm spikes. It is not, and never has been a straight line function, and therefore no one can say whether what we experience today is just another spike, or is actually an anomaly created by man.
