This is a 'capitalism realm vignette' inspired by the film Tron: Legacy.

"My name is Alas, and I'm the keeper of the Phantom-Zone of capitalism, a region of pure chaos inhabited by 'spectres' of Hell. I was born unto the Earth to a human mother but I began studying psychology, economics, and divinity to understand/appreciate the metaphysical complexity of capitalism, the dominant system of governance in human civilization. Capitalism is the foundation, and the spectres of the Phantom-Zone are the adversaries of logic, which is why I control their anarchic dominion with my 'sword of democracy'."

"The first spectre in the Phantom-Zone is Menace, a jet-glider soaring androgynous goblin who throws pumpkin-bombs and rips off the arms and legs of enemies/victims in the name of pure mayhem. Menace reasons that since capitalism is 'legalized gambling/competition,' there's no real reason not to invest in forms of mischief and chaos-gratification for the sake of argumentativeness. I'm not sure if Menace is a servant of the Devil or merely a messenger of anarchy, but to manage this spectre, I keep focus on the basic values of capitalism --- namely, coupon-consciousness!"

"The second spectre of the Phantom-Zone is Cyclonus, a wolfish A.I. robot who represents the ruthless power-hunting in capitalism and the sheer 'thrill' of profit. Cyclonus has sharp features and obviously wants to be a 'diplomat' of wolfish/sharkish behaviors such as betrayal and lust and piracy. Cyclonus is no friend of capitalism debates, so he's really a force of subversion and a warrior of discord. That's why to manage this spectre, I constantly think about the logic of profit-sharing."

"The third spectre in the Phantom-Zone is the eerie and maniacal Leatherface, a chainsaw-wielding cannibal who lives somewhere that resembles a desert-road outpost shack. He just sits in front of his 'abode' and stares into the light with his eerie skin-mask on and serves as a 'gate-keeper' of terrorism. Because capitalism can be so unpredictable, Leatherface's 'job' is to remind everyone of the 'reality' of gambling (mostly its ills). To control this spectre, I simply meditate on the pure promise of capitalism --- namely, the American Dream."

phantom5.jpg

"The fourth spectre is the evil 'mirror-image' of U.S. President Donald Trump, a capitalism-baron and supreme leader of the world; this 'mirror-image Trump' sits in a virtual Oval Office in front of his synthesized Presidential desk by his two 'power-buttons' --- Tweet and Nuke(!). This evil mirror-image Trump symbolizes the war-vulnerability of capitalism (e.g., Gulf War), and to manage his strange dominion, I have to administer messages of brand-marketing."

phantom4.jpg

"The fifth spectre in this Phantom-Zone is the creepy Video-Man, a being of pure electricity, born as a sort of 'super-virus' but with the dimensions of a cut-out video-game character, complete with jagged edge bit/byte-like contours. Video-Man is the ultimate synthetic, but he's evil and he wants to terrorize with his power to scramble computer networks and algorithms and electric grids. To manage his dominion, I have to coordinate strength with imagination. That requires an appreciation of the harmonic balance of capitalism (e.g., World Bank) and the transcendental philosophy behind social security (e.g., welfare)."

phantom7.jpg

"The sixth spectre is the gorgeous and dangerous Medusa, a snake-headed woman who has the power to hypnotize anyone. Medusa is an agent of slavery and disguises herself as a 'muse' of attraction and beauty, but her real purpose is to expose the moral frailty of capitalism and why Americans, for example, find 'delight' in films like The Wolf of Wall Street and Casino. If you have a gambling-problem/addiction, you'd want to avoid Medusa at all costs. To manage her 'dominion of rebelliousness,' I have to always think about labor and fashion."

phantom10.jpg

"The seventh spectre of the Phantom-Zone is Goldfinger, an extraordinary gambler and thief. This criminal mastermind can outwit any 'normal official' or politician and orchestrate grand heists and even plan conspiracies designed to make capitalism seem like an 'amusement park.' Goldfinger is also a terrific card-shark, so you have to be a lover of poker to be able to challenge him casually. To deal with his capitalist dominion, I think about the wits behind being an 'ethical croupier.' Is this all psychiatry or religion?"

ALAS: How'd you break out of the Phantom-Zone?
CYCLONUS: I escaped that 'Microsoft prison' you built for me!
ALAS: Why are you so opposed to profit-sharing?
CYCLONUS: Capitalism is piracy, not poetry.
ALAS: Really? It seems there's a 'force' of ingenuity that is optimistic.
CYCLONUS: What in the hell are you suggesting?
ALAS: Microsoft products are both practical and imaginative.
CYCLONUS: Just because there are toys, doesn't mean kids don't dream of power.
ALAS: The existence of 'war-toys' (e.g., water-guns) doesn't undermine innocence!
CYCLONUS: Really? It seems there's a 'force' of lust that is quite basic.
ALAS: I'm sending you back to the Phantom-Zone with this quill --- "commerce is hygienic."
CYCLONUS: Perhaps you are correct; I'll return to that Microsoft-den you made for me.
ALAS: You'll find it will 'treat' your curiosity about power-organization...
CYCLONUS: Perhaps someday, you and I can write a book (together) about Wall Street!
ALAS: That sounds intriguing, as long as you keep in mind the value of profit-sharing.
CYCLONUS: Is capitalism more like Christianity or Buddhism?
ALAS: There are strokes of both --- e.g., Home Shopping Network and Rent-A-Center.
