See: Carly Fiorina: ‘Our Current Tax System Is In Desperate Need of Reform’

“The complexity and lack of transparency only benefits the powerful and connected while crushing small businesses and innovation. The result is crony capitalism–because only big businesses can handle big government,” wrote Fiorina.

Carly is absolutely correct! The question is, will she be the one who proposes real reform which means withdrawing Congress’ power to lay and collect taxes calculated from incomes, and moving to a consumption based tax system such as that found in the Fair Share Balanced Budget Amendment?

One thing is certain, real reform begins with ending the socialist experiment allowing Congress to lay and collect taxes calculated from profits, gains and other “incomes”.

“…..with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

I'd vote for any candidate who's stance is income earned through a person's labor isn't taxed at any higher rate than a corresponding amount of income gained through other means - capital gains, inheritance, casino winnings, etc. I'll agree with her if by the "powerful and connected" is her description of those holding power to influence the definition of income which the powerful seem to direct only towards those gains made through labor.

Do you remember how many millions of dollars HP gave her to just go away?
