I rode a Denver RTD bus that alternately: A) white RTD driver that accidentally killed a black man and it was made into a race issue by a bunch of lying loudmouth black kids that pulled a Jesse Smollet made up hate crime. B): years later, I also saw a black man eating a hoagie reading a fucking comic book driving a RTD bus, then another black Sudanese immigrant that had his twin brother as a interpreter, neither of them knew the route or what a speed limit was and missed numerous stops. THAT is what "diversity and inclusion" is. Double standards , safety and efficiency safety goes out the window.

Aren't vehicles used as weapons too? No/ Yes? maybe? The Charlottesville 2017 "massacre". Massacre? When a white driver killed ONE person . One. It was deemed a racist hate attack . On the other hand , Waukesha 2021 in which SIX white people died when BLACK driver did it, that wasn't a hate crime. It wasn't a massacre. Because why?

In order to drive a car you need to be of the proper age, have to establish you have followed lessons to be competent driving have to be both mentally and physically fit to take on the responsibility.

In order to own a gun. One isn't required to show competence, There is an age restriction that makes little sense in my opinion, and there is no restriction on mental or physical inadequacy. At least in a lot of States. This is because REPUBLICANS actively oppose those measures.

There is also no question that most people need a car while a gun is of dubious value. Besides for hunting.

Putting up the strawman that the left wants to take your guns is simply that,a strawman. You put it up because otherwise you would need to actually go against the position that the Democrats are taking and focuses on some common sense mitigation measures. Which the GOP mostly opposes. Sure, and so have knives, airplanes, etc., etc. The question is is it their main function? Guns' sole purpose is to kill. It's a hilarious argument, to begin with. Trying to make an appeal to hypocrisy to prevent taking substantive measures on gun violence is bad faith that simple.
