why am I not surprised ?

Trump's company tricked investors. Here's how

Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, a once publicly traded company whose shares dropped more than 90% when the firm sought bankruptcy protection, was charged in 2002 by the Securities and Exchange Commission for reporting financial results in a way that made it appear the company was doing better than Wall Street analysts expected due to "operational improvements," the complaint said. But that was a "false and misleading impression" that initially fooled investors into driving the stock price higher, the SEC said.

I can't imagine what would surprise me about the candidates the two parties intend to nominate this year. With their objectionable personalities I think besides the debates it'll come down to who is seen as kinder to dogs. So far the woofing lady has a tenuous lead.

Did you read the article you posted? The official ruling of the SEC was that Trump, who was acting as chairman of that company at that time was not responsible for the omission in the financial report. But someone "conjectured" that the chairman "should have known" about the omission. Just another weak and deceptive smear piece on Trump from some DemBot.

I dont care for people who say they dont care for Trump and eat a mile of his shit just to find one peanut.

What I can't stand is someone that makes such statements totally ignoring that "I" posted the link to SEC case against Trump Hotels.
One peanut? That was 2.

Here are a few more for you to chew on.
Four of the Clinton Foundation trustees has been convicted and/or charged with financial crimes. Were you aware of that? And speaking of the SEC-
Vinod Gupta, Foundation trustee and long time Clinton supporter, and one of those four.
In 2008 he was charged with fraud by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for using company funds to support his luxurious lifestyle. He was alleged to have used more than $9.5 million in corporate funds to pay for personal jet travel, millions for his yacht, personal credit card expenses, and the cost of twenty cars. He settled with the SEC for $4 million.

And there is this-
New pay-for-play allegations against Clinton

Come on, Siete, you are part of the problem, willing to excuse your candidate, of any wrong doing. And Trump, is not my candidate BECAUSE I DON'T like his practices.
