Cheney Calls for full Release of Memos

The same people who believe waterboarding is a cruel interrogation method will tell you that Al Gore's global warming film several years back was 100% the truth.

What a lame mindless remark of a lemming lover.

Waterboarding over a hundred times isn't torture. You are brain dead.

And this is coming from someone who is senile. Rayboyusmc is the type of person that neighbors would tell their kids to stay away. You don't need a list or a registry to know that. If your kid has been talking to someone who claims to be 14/m, it's rayboyusmc.

Even a lifeboard would throw rayboyusmc overboard.

The news is now reporting that Cheneys remark that he has asked the CIA to release the impact reports on torture is not true.

The CIA has said he never made any such request.

No matter what one may think of Cheney, if says on national tv, he made the request, which he is what happened, it is 100% true.

Of course not. If we find out that 100 guys confessed to being the tooth fairy under torture, it kinda blows the whole thing out of the water.

You know......you'd think they would have gotten something useful after 100 times.

150 would be excessive, even for government times........

183 is just failure.

Is there any doubt that if the positions were reversed (if Obama was a Repub and Bush were a Dem) that Bush, Cheney and anyone connected with torturing people would already be in jail?

Repubs always go for the jugular, hell they impeached President Clinton for lying about whom he had had sex with.

Clearly torturing people is a crime. The US prosecuted and convicted Japanese for using waterboarding on their US captives during WWII. All relevant material should be disclosed and those involved should be tried.

Let Cheney's excuses for torture be disclosed, it does not change the nature of the crime he was involved with.

Personally? I'd like to see Cheney and Bush Jr. over in the Hague, brought up on war crimes, and let 'em spend the rest of their life in that Nazi criminal prison over there.

How ignorant would that be? Of course not. He asks the Obama administration to do that not the CIA directly. This is a canard; the same sort of disinformation we usually get from our MSM to make things more convoluted so the ordinary person in the street dismisses it out of hand.

Who cares how the request was made and who cares what would be revealed if honored?

Torture is a crime and in connection with war prisoners it is a war crime. Let every word of Cheney's be revealed it will only confirm that he was in favor of breaking US and International law by the use of torture.

I think anyone wondering if dogs, insects, slapping, walling, waterboarding, sleep deprivation, confined spaces, etc. would be enough, should be subjected to these methods. Especially congress. We could find out where all the good whore houses and gay baths are.

We could use it on military contractors as well. I'd bet we'd find *lots* of waste and pork if we put a few executives on the table for a few treatments.

The first from the Democrats, and the latter from the Republicans.

Cheney is right. Now that the Justice Department's lawyers recommendations/parameters have been released, along with the details that made CIA confident they were NOT breaking any laws-domestic or through conventions/treaties; the results should also be made public, since President Obama is 'open to' the authors being prosecuted.

Then the potential jury pool hears all there is to hear, before you know, the 'fair trials' begin.

Even Republicans want Cheney to just shut the hell up...

Go back into hiding, GOP begs Dick Cheney

Congressional Republicans are telling Dick Cheney to go back to his undisclosed location and leave them alone to rebuild the Republican Party without his input.

Displeased with the former vice-president's recent media appearances, Republican lawmakers say he's hurting GOP efforts to reinvent itself after back-to-back electoral drubbings.

The veep, who showed a penchant for secrecy during eight years in the White House, has popped up in media interviews to defend the Bush-Cheney record while suggesting that the country is not as safe under President Obama.
