Why do posters still try to defend Biden's record, and attack Trump? (Poll)

You guys didn't accept 2020. So STHU.

Bidens record is outstanding. Republicans have not been able to govern.
1. 2020 had 15m too many votes, Trump had 11,000,000 more votes than in 2016...and lost? Not legally. Trump will prove fraud.

2. Biden is a national security disaster, he let in 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, 600,000 convicted criminals, and hundreds of terrorists including ISIS. Voters confirmed Biden's policies are a disaster and elected Trump in a landslide.

3. You are the prototypical democrat my OP is about. How can you not see reality? Biden & Harris are failures.

4. You are correct that Republicans in Congress typically fail at governing.
Trump needs to run things from the WH, we'll see if 2025 is any different, we'll know soon, January is coming fast.

Because in his first term, Trump proved himself incapable and unsuited to do the job.

His own VP, Chief of Staff, Attorney General and Sec Defense asserted that and revealed what he did behind the scenes
Thanks for the response. Competence is in the eye of the beholder. Trump had a rough start in 2016, he wasn't suited for DC, he was a businessman used to the way corporations ran, that is not DC. I like the way Trump ran the WH.

True that Trump did not handle losing the 2020 election, fairly or unfairly, very well.
But the voters had a change of heart after seeing Biden in the WH and gave Trump another term, maybe the two assassination attempts had something to do with it? What we do know is that Trump and his team will hit the ground running this time.

Which Deep State figure is better?

He is .He is . He is
No, she is . Is . Is , Is .

For sure the Deep State have tied you all in knots .
So Rigid that you cannot see how you are being played .

Nobody tell me that Americans do not understand Pantomime .
You are all in the production .

His WH staffers, his WH attorneys, his Chief of Staff, his Generals, his National Security officials, his Cabinet members. They all spoke out and warned us. He is unfit and dangerous, they've said. This has NEVER happened, EVER.

And the Trumpsters respond by saying they're all lying liars who are lying. All of them. All those people.

And then they start threads saying that Democrats engage in groupthink.

The Alternate Universe is real.

The alternative to Trump was Kamala. We could also call her "unfit and dangerous".
The voters made their decision.
Many of the people who opposed Trump did so because of J6.
Several like AG Barr came back to supporting Trump after seeing the alternative.

Bill Barr, frequent Trump critic, says he will support the ‘Republican ticket’ in November

1. 2020 had 15m too many votes, Trump had 11,000,000 more votes than in 2016...and lost? Not legally. Trump will prove fraud.

Nope. He lost because people were specifically motivated to vote due to Trump's Plague, Recession, and Riots. Also, trump didn't have 11MM more votes, he had about 8 million more. Biden had 11 million more than Clinton. If I find ANYTHING hard to believe, it's that Trump would have gotten more votes in 2020, after he fucked up so badly, but he did.

So where did these additional votes come from.

1) Increased voter rolls. - The number of eligible voters increased by 10 million between 2016 and 2020. A lot of it was people who were resident aliens getting their citizenship.
2) Increased voter participation - Voter participation jumped from 59% in 2016 to 66% in 2020.
3) Less people pissed away their votes on Third Parties. While Third parties garnered Seven Million votes in 2016, they only garnered 2.5 million in 2020.

So- the electorate grew by 10 million.
4.5 million went back to mainstream parties.
And participation increased by 6%, which would have been about 14 million.

2. Biden is a national security disaster, he let in 166,000 Chinese, 125,000 Russians, 600,000 convicted criminals, and hundreds of terrorists including ISIS. Voters confirmed Biden's policies are a disaster and elected Trump in a landslide.

1.58% isn't a landslide, buddy. it's barely crawling over a hobbled opponent.

I'm also wondering where all these terrorists are, exactly, because hot damn, they must be the laziest fucking terrorists in the world.

3. You are the prototypical democrat my OP is about. How can you not see reality? Biden & Harris are failures.

Nope. by any objective measure, Biden was a success. No new wars (Sorry, we aren't fighting in Ukraine), low unemployment, no recessions, record stock market. 15 million new jobs created.

You had high inflation, and you had increased undocumented immigration, but those two problems were baked into the pie.

4. You are correct that Republicans in Congress typically fail at governing.
Trump needs to run things from the WH, we'll see if 2025 is any different, we'll know soon, January is coming fast.

Trump will fail. Because he always fails.

It's only a matter of time before his polls go so low that the GOP think they can safely turn on him.

1. My math says Trump got 11m more votes in 2020 than in 2016, and lost? Not likely. In 2024 Trump got 77m and Harris 75m.
1734189196707.png

2. Whether its a landslide or a mandate Trump won all swing states, Kamala did worse in EVERY precinct than Biden did, that says rejection. Calling her a "hobbled opponent" fits. She is not presidential timber.

3. Ask the FBI director what the terrorists, Russians, and Chinese are up to, he says the system is blinking red, those bad guys are Biden's and democrat's responsibility until Homan deports them.

4. Biden's dismal 75% negative approval rating and Trump's victory says that Biden's admin was a dismal failure. Nice spin though.

5. Trump had "remain in Mexico" and low inflation, so those lies are obvious.

Actually, very likely because Biden got 16 million more than Hillary did.

I gave you the numbers- Increased voter rolls, increased voter participation, and less people pissing away their votes on third parties.

I'm sure that making voting easier helped a bit.

2. Whether its a landslide or a mandate Trump won all swing states, Kamala did worse in EVERY precinct than Biden did, that says rejection. Calling her a "hobbled opponent" fits. She is not presidential timber.

Kamala only had 100 days to organize and run a campaign. And she still came within 1.5% of winning the popular vote.

3. Ask the FBI director what the terrorists, Russians, and Chinese are up to, he says the system is blinking red, those bad guys are Biden's and democrat's responsibility until Homan deports them.

Don't care. We need to stop panicking over what other people are doing and get our own house in order. I don't worry about "the Chinese are going to get us"! (Except when my Chinese wife cooks up one of her concoctions, but that's another story.)

4. Biden's dismal 75% negative approval rating and Trump's victory says that Biden's admin was a dismal failure. Nice spin though.

Biden's approval rating is at 37%. you struggle with that math again, don't you?

5. Trump had "remain in Mexico" and low inflation, so those lies are obvious.
That's not true, either.

Remain in Mexico only SLIGHTLY worked because people were afraid to come here in 2002 due to Covid.

OK, so if you are a hard-wired democrat, that's fine, I can respect that.

But what bothers me is when certain policies are rejected by voters, and democrats keep pushing them anyway.

I'm fine running against these democrat policies again and again and again...just sayin'

The MSM propaganda networks and hi-tech oligarchs buying elections and censoring the truth,
to the FBI orchestrating cover ups and fake Russian disinformation claims

to their university leftist programming centers

to their CRT propaganda teachings in schools

to their "deep state" hold on the government

to their creeping attacks on family values & religious beliefs

to their lawless prosecutors

to their drug culture

to their "great replacement" operation

to their grip on school boards, calling parents “domestic terrorists”

to their tranny bullshit getting little kids butchered
& males playing in girls sports
to their warped views of the US military

to their vicious attacks on parental rights
to their voter fraud networks
to their hatred of religions, calling Catholics “domestic terrorists”
to their war on Christmas
to their hatred of the Founding Fathers
to their fake CRT history and blatant racism
to their drag shows in grade schools
to their late term abortions
To the FBI spying on Catholics
to their hatred of Patriotism, the American flag, and THE 4TH OF JULY
to the Marxists pushing for the US military to use EV vehicles & tanks

Here are policies that have been pushed by some democrats, polling would probably be negative for many of these:
1. Defund the police
2. Disband ICE
3. Open the borders
4. Mass amnesty
5. No shoplifting prosecutions
6. Bail out anarchist rioters
7. Empty prisons
8. End the filibuster
9. Pack the supreme court
10. Gun control
11. Green New Deal
12. War on energy
13. Lawfare against Republicans
14. Runaway inflation keep grocery prices and housing unaffordable.
15. Illegally forgive $billions of student loan debt
16. Teach CRT in all schools
17. Continued attacks on parental rights (take kids from parents to transition)
18. Tranny bathrooms (men in girls locker rooms)
19. Add DC & Puerto Rico as states guaranteeing democrats permanent majorities
20. Ban fracking.
21. Hire 80,000 new IRS agents willing to kill.
22. Abandoned $85b of military equipment to the Taliban, last one in room w/Biden, ugh.
23. Supports paying reparations.
24. Tax unrealized "paper" gains
25. Removed Trump sanctions on Iran allowing funding to Hamas & Hezbollah
26. Disastrous withdrawal from AFG caused the deaths of 13 Americans, did not call families, but tried to turn memorial service into political points. Families prefer Trump to Harris.

1. 2020 will get sorted out eventually. Its history, Biden won, meh.

2. I should have said. Biden's 75% wrong track number, my bad.

3. OK, "remain in Mexico" beats "open borders". Homan has his workload waiting, about 12,000,000 and counting.

OK, so if you are a hard-wired democrat, that's fine, I can respect that.

Guy, do you suffer from some high-grade OCD, where you need to make these interminable lists?

Trump BARELY won the popular vote by playing on fear of trans and immigrants. Just like Bush BARELY won in 2004 by pushing fear of terrorists and gay marriage.

Fears are transitory, and they have a limited shelf life if your economic ideas suck and they bring recessions. (which, by the way, 10 of the last 11 recessions happened when Republicans were in charge. Soon to be 11 out of 12.)

1. 2020 will get sorted out eventually. Its history, Biden won, meh.

yes, he did. Why you keep pretending he didn't is weird. Stop drinking the bleach.

2. I should have said. Biden's 75% wrong track number, my bad.

Except Trump's "Wrong Track" numbers were equally high.

3. OK, "remain in Mexico" beats "open borders". Homan has his workload waiting, about 12,000,000 and counting.

He'll fail. Miserably. Just like he failed the last time.

When people start seeing their neighbors getting deported, when they start seeing families get separated, when they hear the horror stories of ICE agents accidently shooting US citizens...

Homan and Trump's Xenophobia will be very unpopular.

1. Yep, I even had spot remover at the office to keep the floor carpeting clean.

2. A policy win is a policy win. Keep Kamala's and Biden's policies if you think they are winners.

3. We don't know Trump-47's "right track - wrong track" numbers yet, stay tuned.

4. Homan didn't fail last time and he won't fail this time. Where are those 350,000 kids (sex slaves) Biden lost?
Voters want illegals deported,
Clinton deported 12,000,000
Bush deported 10,000,000
Obama the "deporter-in-chief" deported 5,000,000
Biden let 12,000,000 into the US
Trump to deport ______________ nothing unusual

I'm always surprised when I see democrat posters here still toeing the party line instead of accepting the reality of the 2024 election and the rejection by the voters of the stupid and failed democrat policies, talking points, and ad nauseam criticisms of Trump.

Posting here is a lot like "deja vu all over again", all over again, and all over again. Never accepting the truth. Here is reality, deal with it:

1. Bragg's and Merchan's LAWFARE against Trump, aka the 34 felonies, will never stand on appeal.
2. Letitia's and Engeron's $500,000,000 fine for a bookkeeping error will not stand, even the NY appeals court said comments about it.
3. Smith wasn't even appointed legally, so his two cases (classified documents & J6) were going nowhere.
4. Assassin #1, Crooks was a SS setup from the start, Trump needs to let Kash get to the bottom of it.
5. Assassin #2, Routh, with 18 cell phones, and a lot of unexplained air travel, also needs a thorough investigation
6. Trump's nominees for positions will probably all be approved, even though democrats throw hissy-fits.
7. Trump's term will begin with hundreds of EOs reversing Biden's moronic policies.
8. Elon and Vivek will make recommendations to cut spending, democrats should embrace the responsible spending cuts
9. Budgets will not be by CRs any more, but by individual actual negotiated Bills
10. There will be cuts to and elimination of government agencies to hopefully cut $2-trillion from the 2024 Budget
11. If Republicans can't pass the necessary legislation, then they are done for a long, long time

Joe Biden's record doesn't need defending.

And tRump is easy to laugh it.

2. A policy win is a policy win. Keep Kamala's and Biden's policies if you think they are winners.

Again, sometimes you stick with a policy because it's the right thing to do.

Take the Iraq War. Democrats were running against it in 2004, and they lost (barely) because Kerry was not exactly the best vessel to express that position (he voted for the initial war authorization, some of the shit he did when he returned from Vietnam was terrible.)

By 2006, though, the tide had turned, and Democrats took both houses of Congress because Bush's War had become so unpopular. By 2008, Democrats utterly crushed the Republicans on that issue.

When people see the cruelty of Trump's policies and realize that cruelty doesn't make their lives any better, it won't be such a winner for you.

3. We don't know Trump-47's "right track - wrong track" numbers yet, stay tuned.

Oh, they will be bad. As I stated in another thread, no president has a second term that is better than his first. Trump is already making one of the key mistakes presidents make in second terms, appointing loyalists instead of specialists. Think "Heckava Job" Brownie at FEMA.

4. Homan didn't fail last time and he won't fail this time. Where are those 350,000 kids (sex slaves) Biden lost?

Trump to deport ______________ nothing unusual

Nobody lost 350K kids.
Voters were barely upset about inflation. That will get worse under Trump with his tariffs and deporting the people who pick the lettuce.
The only way you get to millions deported by Obama and Bush is by counting people returned at the border.

Also, Biden didn't let 12 million stay. most of them were returned. The number allowed to stay under Biden was 2.5 million, most of them having pretty valid asylum claims. The rest were sent back.

Now, this is an area where Biden failed to make his own case, because he didn't want to alienate Hispanics by telling them how many he was deporting. This was grave political malpractice.
