China has won AI battle with U.S., Pentagon's ex-software chief says

We gave them the technology to be able to exploit their cheap labor. We always seem to complain about other countries using the things we give them........I wonder if there is a lesson here?

This is a statling revelation but judging by the "woke" culture and Snowflake ideals pushed by U.S enemies into America, coupled with poor leadership for 30 year, I suppose one shouldn't be surprised. Rest assured, China will far more aggressively defend their I.P and patents than America did.

American companies handed over the keys to the technology that American minds and taxpayer dollars often financed at some point or another. Politicians gave others special trading status. Treason in many respects, but politicians and businesses were too busy looking for angles to make money off of others misery. The road back to the Ol' US of A, is a steep climb now.

China has a government brimming with engineers and hard sciences disciplines. They confront and erase corruption within their ranks. Western leaders are often the least impressive in school, but they talk a good game while lining their pockets via horrible policies and positions that make no sense to the average citizen. Few if any are ever held to account.

Chinese isn't interested in excessively funding and rewarding low performers. They are interested in finding their best talent and prospering from them, not trying to prop up someone who lacks ability or effort, not looking for racism in math and programming languages. These are concepts which the West is aware of via pro sports, the best make the big money, somehow scholastics and technology should be different?

We should still hold out hope that America can recover, but with so many profit pimps and traitorous companies, many are limited and even banned in the nation they helped build; it's not looking good.

One is be careful who you allow into your universities, lest they rip you off of your intellectual property for years on end.... another would be do not allow China to take Taiwan at all costs. If you think the semi conductor shortage is bad now.. wait till that happens. It would be one stepping stone in the path of world domination by China

Yes, but Biden either is too dumb to learn it or knows exactly what he's doing and is a traitor. Speaking of course about the $85B of military equipment we gave the Taliban, along with an airbase.

Manufacturing gave them the technology in trade for exploiting their cheap labor.

It matters none who the president is.

The US Government allowed that, to the detriment of its own people. thats only a piece of it.

"Diverting Intellectual Property to Support China’s Rise… and Hurting U.S. Institutions The PRC is engaged in a concerted effort to divert key technology and research to China and its military—often at the expense of U.S. universities, taxpayers, and the Federal government. Foreign technology acquisition is a major component of the PRC’s strategy to quickly advance its scientific, economic, and military development goals.  The PRC’s national strategy of Military-Civil Fusion (MCF) directs collaboration with foreign universities to acquire cutting edge research and technology to advance its efforts to achieve a world-class military by the year 2049.  International collaboration and foreign contributions are key to the success of the U.S. research enterprise. However, the PRC does not abide by core principles of academic research, including openness, transparency, reciprocity, and meritocracy—resulting in some researchers circumventing the regulations and legal requirements of the United States. These actions pose grave risks to U.S. research integrity and security."

The U.S. government does pretty much whatever business wants.

Of course it does. Arming the Taliban is all Biden. China is already buying up precious metals mining rights in Afghanistan while Biden is attempting to put an 8% fee on existing federal lands mines and 4% fees on new ones. Biden changed Trump's policy and is now going to buy Chinese drones for federal law enforcement when he has been warned that China will likely use information about critical US infrastructure from those drones. The Chinese bought access to "the big guy" through Hunter.
