First of all, this isn't about "Communism". The Chinese really haven't practiced real communism since Deng Xiaoping.

Secondly, I watch a lot of Chinese media with Mrs. B131. The Chinese are more like us than you think they are. Taxes then become a consumption tax through the tarrifs. I'm OK with that. Meaning that as you consume more products you pay more taxes. Which allows for more savings for those looking to retire, invest, or buy big ticket items one day.

It makes the focus of the taxes at airports, boat docks, or other points of entry. Which means fewer drugs and slaves coming across the border....(tighter border security)
