The Chinese are leaving us in their dust.

At this time, the Han Chinese have established themselves as a superior culture and ethnicity, able to not only adopt but excel in technologies that they did not have a short time ago.

It would behoove us to mimic that part of their culture that is compatible to our own.

The Chinese don't have superior culture. What they are good at is being robots and sheeple. They've always been like that, that's why China is so large, because they just followed whoever the next ruler was, or even the next dynasty. This degraded around 150 years ago and it wasn't until the Communist came along and enforced a strong arm onto the people, and then got out of Mao's ridiculous shadow and a bunch of technocrats basically took over. They are doing a lot of good stuff that wouldn't be able to happen in the US simply because the rich control everything in the US.

The train system is much better than the US's, they have renewable energy coming along greatly, but there is plenty of room for improvment, especially with healthcare and pollution.

Freedom of speech will always be one thing that will never function there much.

Well, China is advancing for all the reasons the US isn't advancing. China has govt which works, which does what it needs to do and wants to do, while in the US they're doing nothing but playing politics.

Actually they're getting strong and stronger at blocking information. Firstly they rely on the fact that most people don't care. They want money, a better life, and the govt is providing that for them. The US is on the way down, the next generations will be worse off than the former, in China it's not like that, people have the hope that Americans try and vote for out of the likes of Obama and Trump.

The Chinese aren't known for their revolutions. They are known for following the pact. You've got thousands of years of history to back that up. China has been a large country for a long time. Europe is half the size of China and has always had friction, always had the power hungry rising up and forming new groups and new countries, while the Chinese are happy to be Chinese.

Not only that but Chinese patriotism is strong. They have made it so. There is one language in China. It's Chinese. Forget Mandarin (Putong Hua where Hua means dialect rather than language) or Cantonese (Guangdong Hua, or the dialect from Guangdong), they are the same language. The only people who see themselves as different at the Tibetans and some of the Muslim groups, and the Chinese govt has been brutal on these groups in the past. You go to Xinjiang and see how far you can get around. When I went a few years back I was in a taxi with other foreigners and was told we had one hour to go see what we wanted to see and we weren't allowed into the famous village. It had all been set up for tourism, but we were the only ones there, Chinese couldn't get in at all.

If you think China is like America, you have no idea. Completely different mentality and way of looking at the world, totally polar opposite even to the Japanese. Until you understand the Chinese, you'll make the same mistakes most people made in Iraq, assuming that the US soldiers would be welcomed as liberators simply because the US people believed this is what they were. People see things differently in different parts of the world.
