Choice or murder?

A woman waited way too long to decide to abort her fetus and she chose to do it on her own with a pill designed to induce labor that she bought off the internet. Her 5 1/2 month old fetus survived the delivery but died later. She is being charged with murder.

So, interested to see if the liberals will say it was just a choice. There have been fetuses that survived abortions, meaning breathing on their own, and left to die. Are any of you liberals okay with a live human being denied medical help and allowed to die when they could have been saved?

What will pro-choice advocates say about this woman s MURDER charge - Allen B. West - AllenBWest.com

No liberals want to chime in? Many support late term abortions, but yet this baby was born alive and might have survived with immediate medical attention. The woman purchased a pill over the internet and believed she was aborting the baby by inducing labor. I can't believe it's legal to sell such a pill. Do you liberals agree she should be charged with murder or do you think it's just a matter of choice and she should be set free?

Very few liberals I know really think that abortion should be dealt with like that. First term choice, after that I'm against it (unless it's a red state that forced the woman to wait).

Conservatively speaking, choice is obviously the primary characteristic of being human.

Some pertinent facts are needed in order to be fair....and judge properly imo

Was this pill she got off the internet legal?

Did she follow the instructions properly, or was she negligent?

Did she know she was 5.5 months pregnant? Or did she think she was 3-4 months pregnant?

Was the baby harmed by this pill and this lead to the baby's death, or did the baby die just because she chose to induce labor early?

If she had delivered her baby prematurely, but naturally, with no pill inducing labor, would her child had survived?

What are the statistics on survival rates of babies delivered at 22 weeks?

Was her baby alive when born, given hospitalization and died in NB ICU, OR IN HER home?

Was it against the law in her state to have an abortion at 5.5 weeks even if at home?

If her baby had been born dead after she had induced labor with this pill, and not taken its first breath and died later, would the State still be charging her with murder?
