The ditz mayor of Seattle has finally decided there was too much love in the socialist Eden of CHOP.

Mayor Jenny Durkan said the violence was distracting from changes sought by thousands of peaceful protesters opposing racial inequity and police brutality. She said at a news conference that the city is working with the community to bring the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” zone, or CHOP, to an end and that police soon would move back into a precinct building they had largely abandoned in the area.

Thing is, the violence was a direct result of the "changes" they sought. In fact, violence was one of the methods they used.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that this occupation started with violence. It was only after the police left that they became relatively peaceful. And when I say "relatively peaceful", I mean that the violence and threats continued even after the police left; it just wasn't as frequent or severe.

Anyone and everyone with any sense knew that these shootings or something like it was inevitable.
