First, there is no fad that I am aware of for using fake Ten Dollar tips with scriptures on them for tips. It is true that there are such fake money, with scriptures on it. I have never seen it used, and certainly not as a fad.

Second, You will need to identify the study that you mentioned. It may appear that Christians are "cheap," but if you knew these people who give small tips, I think there needs to be some definition of what is cheap. Also those Christians who do give tips have many other places where they give. Cheap may be a perception.

I agree that the fake money use is wrong, and should be left with a real tip. I am glad that makes you angry. Do you get angry when a person leaves nothing?

Here's a tip. No Christian has ever known our Creator.

So, do you know "all" Christians? How can you make that statement unless you do? I know the Creator, and He knows me. So, prove that to be a lie, please.
 
If they were given scripture, that "tip" may have been the best they have ever received.

Nevertheless, a bonus for a job well done, To Insure Promptness shouldn't have been overlooked. Next time write the scripture on a real 10.00 bill and bless your waiter twice. It is being a good steward of your money and spreading the gospel at the same time.

It is the creed of Muslims, not the personality of each that determines the stereotype, just as Christ determines our creed. That we can pick out a stray from either is human nature. But our reactions to the two religions are molded according to creed, not deed.

One offers death to all but a select group, for Allah's sake. The other offers life to all that follow Christ for God's and mankind's sake. The difference is night and day. Allah is not just another word for God.

The most meek of Muslims still pray for the death of others if they hold true to the Quran.
The most powerful of Christians still pray for forgiveness of others if they hold true to the NT. :eusa_angel:

In Sura 18:110, and elsewhere, Muhammad is commanded by Allah:

"Say, I am but a man like yourselves."

Nowhere in the Quran is Muhammad said to be sinless. Instead, Allah tells Muhammad that he is no different than any other man.

Those Muslims who claim that Muhammad was sinless have failed to note Sura 40:55, where Allah told Muhammad to repent of his sins!

Muhammad Pickthal translates Sura 40:55 as saying:

"Ask forgiveness of thy sin".

The only way out of this passage is to state that Allah was wrong to ask Muhammad to ask for forgiveness because he had nothing to forgive!

Pickthal's translation of Sura 48:1, 2 states:

"Lo! We have given thee,
(O Muhammad), signal victory,
that Allah may forgive thee
of past and that which is to
come, and may perfect His
favor unto thee, and guide
thee on a right path"

But the most compelling biblical argument against polygamy is found in the New Testament portrait of marriage. Jesus states quite clearly in Matthew 19:5-6 in reference to Genesis 2, "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one." The Apostle Paul is quite specific in his instructions to the Church in I Corinthians 7:2, "But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband." He also reminds the Ephesians of Jesus' words, "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."38 The comparison Paul makes between marital love and the love Christ has for the Church, illustrates the quality of love God requires in marriage: a selfless, sacrificial love. Jesus says that a second marriage is adultery except for fornication. Polygamy is adultery.

It isn't just polygamy. It is adultery.

If God meant for there to be polygamy, it would have said "wives" and Genesis 2:24 wouldn't have said "one flesh". God's model was one woman and one man in the beginning.

Deuteronomy 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

Polygamy is the practice of multiplying wives.

God designed marriage to protect us from immorality and immorality is a reason against Polygamy which I will try to draw out of the scriptures at a later time.

Polygamy is condemned in the Book of Mormon (I'm not Mormon):

Jacob 1:15; 2:23,24,27,31;3:5; Mosiah 11:2,4; Ether 10:5,7
