"One year ago, when Oregon officials raised questions about the project and the contracts going to Oracle, Oregon Health Authority CIO told other state officials in a Cover Oregon meeting that the Secretary of State’s office had conducted an audit of the contracts, and found no problem. A year later, no one can find any evidence of that audit, which adds yet another dimension to the allegations of fraud involving Carolyn Lawson and Cover Oregon."

In Oregon, these people scooped in tens of millions of dollars, claiming that they had a functioning site, providing fake web shots to confirm...and in the end, they didn't..and they don't.

It's a scam.

Yep. There is something very rotten going on in Oregon. I hope the local media there stays aggressively on the case.

There's a Republican candidate for Governor who is stirring up some shit over Cover Oregon. Though his motives are obviously political, his pushing should get some very dirty government laundry aired.
