I have to admit that I am surprised. People did seem to acknowledge they understand the economic mess was years in the making. Not that Biden shouldn't get his share of blame but the electorate seemed to be acknowledging that both parties share in the blame.

So count me as surprised. Now to see if either party learns anything. If they do, it will be an even bigger surprise.
