D-Day Disgrace

That came from speechwriter Peter Robinson.

And St Reagan said it with as much conviction and sincerity as any actor could muster to make it sound like his own words.

So Obama's words aren't his own? Who's are they?

Coulda been worse.

Instead of chewing gum through the ceremony Our Kenyan President could have been chawin' on some bacca and spit on the graves.

Fortunately He didn't think of that.

With his record of going against Liberty at every turn for the sake of people that refuse to exercise and defend it properly? Don't think for a minute that didn't cross his mind. He has enough scandals to deal with at present.

Gosh darn it fake you will twist any truth into a lie. Foreign policy is all the President.

Mainstream Americans and the good part of the world despise you folks, Freewill.

Tis what tis.

wrong, what they dispise is a USA with a foolish incompetent foreign policy. the world is laughing at us and our boy president.

Putin looks like a leader, obama looks like a clown. Its terrible.

LOL!

Putin changes the Russian constitution so he can again become president (or an even longer term) after serving as the de facto president in his role as prime minister while Medvedev was technically president. In other words, Putin IS a dictator, and you say he looks like a leader.

On the other hand, Obama acts within the confines of his Constitutional powers and tries to work with a Republican House to little avail, but you guys call him a dictator?

Yer funny!

Nay, NOT a dictator.

Just a dictator wannabe.

Fortunately with His record of failure, that's not a terribly serious consideration.

I've enjoyed and learned a lot from Hastings' history books over the years. His view of our wimp-in-chief is set against a backdrop of history little oobie obviously doesn't belong in.

Another shabby day for the marshmallow President: As his Taliban hostage swap sours, why Obama is a pygmy compared with the wartime leader Roosevelt, says MAX HASTINGS

The judgment of the Leader of the Free World looks terrible. He has 30 months left to serve in office, but unless some amazing lightning stroke descends on him, Obama’s presidency seems set to end in failure.

Precisely because he is America’s first black chief executive, the man on whom such huge hopes rested five years ago, this makes his plight today all the more wretched.

He is not a bad man, nor a stupid one, but he has shown himself tragically weak. And in a world occupied by Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Putin, Nigeria’s Boko Haram kidnappers, and a terrifyingly ambitious China, that is no way for the occupant of the White House to be.

"Sorry, I just didn't see any compelling reason for us to take a side in Iran's election,..."

Probably true.

That is because you don't understand America's role in the world.

Nor does Obama.

I think you fail to realize the reason why they call America "The Great Satan" is because we've spent DECADES interfering in their politics.

Is this not clear to you, or do you really think the whole world wants to be Americans and drink coca-cola?

To think we have a "role" in the world is the kind of hubris that makes most of the world hate us.

Without America playing the role that only it can, there is chaos, and evil prevails.

Sans America, it is the law of the jungle.

Enter Obama, stage Left.

Running against former President Bush's image, the Obama campaign promised that his election would restore America's image in the world.

Now, this:

1." 'America cannot do a damn thing': Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei taunts President Obama claiming he doesn't have the guts for a military attack.

2. Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has taunted President Barack Obama, claiming that the U.S. no longer has the guts for battle.

3. ....Ayatollah Ruhollah Khamenei, the 74-year-old Shiite Muslim cleric proclaimed that 'military attack is not a priority for Americans now.'
He stood on a podium amid banners boasting 'America Cannot Do a Damn Thing' as he reacted to a speech President Obama gave to West Point last week.

4. ...Khamenei, second from left, called President Obama a chicken in a speech during a ceremony....

5. The gibe comes as President Obama is being critisised for negotiating with Taliban to swap five hardened terrorists for suspected deserter...

6. ....the supreme leader launched another verbal attack on America, claiming his country's struggle will only end when it defeats U.S.-led oppression.....'Battle and jihad are endless....

7. Enriched uranium provides fuel for nuclear generating stations but it is also, if refined to a high level, the key ingredient for atomic bombs.

8. ....Iran's declared civilian nuclear energy programme is a facade for seeking a weapons capability. Iran denies this but it has a history of hiding activity from U.N. nuclear inspectors."

Just one more successful conclusion in Obama's panorama of foreign policy struggles.

This is what happens when you choose a community organizer for President.

They called us names? That's it?

What do you call invading a country because you think they might have WMDs?

That is a disgrace

Obama's best achievement may well be his having surpassed Bill Clinton in his ability to make conservatives cry,

like big, fat, babies.

I notice that you are going for a series of birds as your avi.....

...please don't miss the most appropriate one, the Dodo.

Oh....right....everyone.

Everyone?

How about this guy?

. I don’t oppose all wars. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other armchair, weekend warriors in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne. What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income, to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression.

That’s what I’m opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics.

Now let me be clear: I suffer no illusions about Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal man. A ruthless man. A man who butchers his own people to secure his own power…. The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him. But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors…and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history.

I know that even a successful war against Iraq will require a U.S. occupation of undetermined length, at undetermined cost, with undetermined consequences. I know that an invasion of Iraq without a clear rationale and without strong international support will only fan the flames of the Middle East, and encourage the worst, rather than best, impulses of the Arab world, and strengthen the recruitment arm of al-Qaeda.

I am not opposed to all wars. I’m opposed to dumb wars. So for those of us who seek a more just and secure world for our children, let us send a clear message to the president.

You want a fight, President Bush? Let’s finish the fight with Bin Laden and al-Qaeda, through effective, coordinated intelligence, and a shutting down of the financial networks that support terrorism, and a homeland security program that involves more than color-coded warnings.

You want a fight, President Bush? Let’s fight to make sure that…we vigorously enforce a nonproliferation treaty, and that former enemies and current allies like Russia safeguard and ultimately eliminate their stores of nuclear material, and that nations like Pakistan and India never use the terrible weapons already in their possession, and that the arms merchants in our own country stop feeding the countless wars that rage across the globe.

You want a fight, President Bush? Let’s fight to make sure our so-called allies in the Middle East, the Saudis and the Egyptians, stop oppressing their own people, and suppressing dissent, and tolerating corruption and inequality, and mismanaging their economies so that their youth grow up without education, without prospects, without hope, the ready recruits of terrorist cells.

Enter Obama, stage Left.

Uh-huh. THat's the kind of arrogance that kind of turns the rest of the world off.

Torture is okay when we do it. War is okay when we do it.

It's nonsense, and frankly, we pick the wrong side as often as the right one.

explain how not following laws that he signed is following the constitution (ACA). Explain how ignoring the congressional notice requirement for prisoner release is following the constitution.

Yes, Putin is a dictator, obama is a wannabe dictator. Putin is a man, obama is a pussy boy.

We should not try to police the world. Waterboarding is NOT torture. We did it to 3, count em 3, mass murderers and probably saved the lives of thousands by doing it.

Yeah, we did.

Calling it "enhanced interrogation techniques" doesn't make it different.

That's like calling a rape victim an "unwilling sperm recipient."
