Daniel Garza, the Executive Director of Libre offers a powerful video on what liberty and freedom—the American Dream—has meant to him and his family. Daniel’s father sums up the American success formula best starting at the 0:55 second marker:

“You can make it with just three things: With G-d, good credit, and freedom (liberty to work)”

Daniel Garza fears that generations who are now dependent on a monolithic government are not experiencing an American dream, but rather an American nightmare. These dependent Americans (on government to provide handouts) are condemning their future offspring to mediocrity and failure.

Hat Tip RightScoop. Enjoy!

A few Thomas Jefferson quotes seem apropos:

“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have.”

“When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty”

The greatest period in American history was from 1950 through 1980. Government and private corporation made that possible. Regulations and laws that helped level the playing field for the little guy made this all possible.

What does your movement have to show? Even Reagan would be afraid of you.
