How about ditch this idea and focus on drilling again? Let the food trucks come in easily once again. That'll help the food prices. All this would do is cause a food shortage so the prices would be irrelevant at that point.

Part of the problem was this move to lift minimum wages to $15.00/hour trying to make minimum wage jobs into "living wages" instead of just jobs for school students to learn working. By raising salaries to double what they used to be for unskilled labor, not only did that raise the cost of labor and services ADDING to inflation, but it negated the effect of inflation--- the whole reason for getting a skilled job requiring education is to AFFORD to live! Why do that if you can afford to live on minimum wage?

Further, it took away the whole impetus to LOWER inflation and costs, because if everyone is mostly getting along now under an inflated economy (due to the rose wages), then the motivation to LOWER COST to make life more affordable is TAKEN AWAY.
