Nancy Pelosi Opposed Persian Gulf War, Iraq War, the Surge — Yet She's Now Shamelessly Beating the Drums for War in Syria

Years ago I came to the belated realization that Democrats are traitors to America on the question of national security (and on other questions as well, no doubt).

President Obama, of course, throughout his entire career, has possessed not one ounce of credibility on matters of war and peace. Recall that as a candidate for president in 2007 he was farther to the left and more antiwar than any other Democrat seeking the party's nomination. His hypocrisy on America's national security interests is a total abomination and the supreme miracle feat of political posturing and opportunism. Disgusting.

This truly doesn't surprise me. It's typical of the left. Hypocrisy thy name is Democrat.

John McCain and Lindsey Graham went very public with the fact that we needed to take military action. And Obama took the bait. Then, the very second that Obama started talking about military action, talk radio agitated heavily against military action.

This is why the Republicans wanted Obama over the Clinton's. They wanted a rookie whom they could filibuster and obstruct and crush no matter what he did, including supporting their policies.

Bush/Cheney played politics with 9/11 every single day. Bush never stopped talking about the troops. He basically said that if you opposed his policies, then you sided with the terrorists.

Republican congressional candidates made countless commercials with Bin Laden's face and mushroom clouds. FOXNews kept the nation in a constant state of fear with color-coded terror alerts. And the Bush team used this fear to create a national security surveillance state which shredded the constitution. Then, they used their newly created surveillance powers to track the finances of their biggest political critics like Eliot Spitzer (whom they caught in their web the minute he moved over $10,000)

It was pure Soviet Union. They used fear to create a surveillance state, and then they used that surveillance state to protect their own power. And guess what? They're coming back in 2016. You ain't seen nothing yet.

That's because both sides are always playing politics with other people's lives. It's disgusting, but has been going on since the beginning of politics. For one side to believe their guys are above that is plain ignorant.

Yes, we need W and the republicans back so they can say Syria is using WMD's against their people, and any day now the skys are going to turn black from all the crop dusters flying over to spray the nation with anthrax and the plague, so we need to go to full on war with them now (as well as iran, just cuz' war is cool!)
