No, that's not true. There's a group that wants to ban handguns. There's a group that wants to ban "assault rifles". There's a group that wants to ban hunting (hunting rifles), there's a group that wants to ban bird hunting (shotguns), so taken together yes, they want to ban ALL guns. They just realize they have to do it incrementally to fool the stupid people.
