Do you know why "Intellectuals" (aka:Useful Idiots) are always rounded up in the first wave whenever a Progressive Dictator finally comes to power? Think about it: They betrayed their home country to help the Dictator come to power, so at once they are stupid AND untrustworthy. Of course the Dictator is going to have them rounded up and eliminated. They won't even call him a Dictator yet, they'll think he's just misguided

He'll come back around to being Progressive, just hand him a NY Times crossword, you'll see.

The standing joke is always to call them "Intellectuals" See, they were so fucking bright they never knew how good they had it. They thought they'd be better off -- somehow, by eliminating their own freedom and rights. Insane, right? But that's why they're called Useful Idiots (aka: Intellectuals)
