Everyone born in the US yesterday IS a US citizen today and for the rest of their lives. That's reality.

Your so-called "reality" cannot change the truth to what it is not.

According to our Constitution, and its documented legislative intent which gives context to its text, and a number of Supreme Court cases, a child born on American soil to an illegal entrant foreign national is not a United States citizen upon birth.

Is it "reality" that every baby born in the US yesterday IS a US citizen? Yes, it is. Is it "the truth" that all of these US citizens will remain so for the rest of their lives? Yes, it is.

The framers of the 14th Amendment made it very clear in their conversations and the congressional record that anyone born in the US is a citizen, with the only exclusion being those children born to ambassadors or foreign ministers.
