Deductive reasoning? Ok, here goes. This guy moves into a new neighborhood and one of his new neighbors comes over and introduces himself. They strike up a conversation and he asks the new guy what he does for a living. He says he teaches deductive reasoning at the college.

The neighbor asks what that is and the professor says ok, it's like this, That's your house over there, right?. I can tell by the two cars in the driveway you are married. From the well kept yard I can deduce you have a weed eater and a lawnmower. From the swingset in the backyard you have kids. So putting all that together I can tell that you are a normal heterosexual male.

The new neighbor was impressed.
