Actually "the best" decided not to run this time on the GOP side.

That's probably because initially all the GOP superstars including Christie, Jeb, Kasich, pretty boy Rubio, Doctor Dumbass Carson, and Crazy Cruz all looked too formidable.

If either of Christie, Jeb, or Kasich had ended up the finalist, then they would have given Hillary a hard run for her money and possibly even won.
