Ed Asner: Hollywood Silence on Obama, Syria: 'Don't Want to Feel Anti-Black

funny how the rw media goes nuts whenever ANY Dem mentions race LOL
Consider it preemption... they've seen the Race Card played by the LW media often enough to want to get out in front of it before it gets out of control, as it sometimes does, when the LW media is pushing it, and the RW media is caught napping... it's understandable.

They spend their entire lives being someone else and when they're called upon to reason and use some intelligence, they can't!

One would think that when a person reaches the advanced age of Ed Asner, that person hopefully has developed some brains and decency.

Ed Asner proves the fallacy of that presumption.

At Eds age your lucky if you can remember your name, not soil yourself and are able to walk.

You'll be old one day, and I hope you're treated with more respect than you're treating Asner.

.

I doubt it has as much to do with race as it does with partisan politics. Now that a Democratic president wants to bomb somebody Democrats are pro-war. On the flip side, now that a Democratic president wants to bomb somebody Republicans suddenly become peaceniks. Neither have any real integrity.

Proof positive that the liberal left will sell out the country to stay politically correct. Rather sad.

Ed Asner Explains Hollywood Silence on Obama, Syria: They 'Don't Want to Feel Anti-Black'

In 2003, ahead of a U.S. attack on Iraq, a robust anti-war movement in Hollywood included a TV commercial starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn visiting Baghdad. There were online petitions signed by Ed Asner; letters to President George W. Bush pleading for peace were signed by Matt Damon, Tim Robbins, Barbra Streisand and Alec Baldwin; former M*A*S*H star Mike Farrell fronted multiple press conferences where celebrities denounced war. In interviews, Janeane Garofalo stopped identifying herself as an actor -- she preferred to be called a member of the U.S. anti-war movement.

Funny watching Liberals twist in their own rules when their principals are at conflict. Alinsky is proud and laughing is ass off.

Maybe you give the liberals too much credit. I am thinking that their principles are not in conflict.

You are correct......liberal principals have checked their principles at the door.
