Mostly, the United States has fewer coup d'états and revolutions than do other nations in the world. There hasn't even been a decent Civil War--like in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Indian sub-Continent, Central and South America: Since 1865.

And so anyone sees that guns are not even a worldwide problem, after all? Some people think that what happens everywhere else is a US Constitutional Right.

USA has about 50,000 gun incidents per year, involving no particular religious or factional disputes.

So it is sensible to open up about 100,000 school campuses--in the United States--to expanded capabilities for even more such incidents?

Armed teacher misplace pistol, (so teacher claims), and little kid finds it, a toy to play with(?)!

The Governor of Florida has managed to announce that to be a bad idea! Better it seems to be to follow the lead of Antarctica on the matter. . .making the opportunities available(?). . . .Not at all.

Responsible people don't misplace guns. You almost never hear, "Now where did I put that glock.." But if it is a concern, holstered at all times removes that issue.
The kid could suck on the barrel if he wanted to and wouldn't be in danger if it is a gun that has been programed to a certain fingerprint.
No gun zones make crazy people's mouths water....

Those guns don't work and are expensive as hell!

Necessity is the mother of invention. Now that a demand for them may increase so will supply, and price drop due to competition.
Technology has made them very accurate and easy to lock. The owner can choose from a ring or watch as the only method to unlock, or fingerprint recognition, or smart grip recognition... One company is making a small touch pad that can be applied to any gun to make it programmable. A simple chip could cure a lot of problems.

So if gun ownership is a constitutional right, then making them known about would seem to be Constitutional, Knowing who is able to exercise the right. Everyone knows the identity of a free speaker. Who has what kind of weapon can be useful for a posse to know, clearly with basis in Amendment Two.

So gun registration could be mandatory option one. The CNN announcer, (who can't pronounce Papadopoulos), suggests an integrated data approach--matching registrations with recorded behavioral observations--school expulsions, mental health issues--(Medical people likely need to know about that, too). An instant on-going background check is likely a simple IT matter, anymore.

Then on Behalf of GOP: Then law enforcement can run in, guns blazing--contributing to an exacerbation of the crisis underway--especially if all the teachers are all armed(?)!

Rules of security tend to support "Observe and report," instead of "Rambo Repel Everyone In Sight!" Any school security personnel can be offered advice about potential incident-makers. They can even be asked to pass through security machines, in some manner unobtrusive.

Registration is the first step to confiscation. Forget it!

How many students would Charles Whitman have killed if it were not for
scores of Texans who had rifles to reach him on the top of that tower in
Austin, Texas, when the Austin Police had nothing that could get to him?

Some Austin officers were quoted that day as saying he was killing at will until
civilians started firing back at him with their rifles. Then he was forced to move
around and not fire as rapidly as he initially did in the beginning.
