Farmers already scrambling to find workers in California — the nation’s leading grower of fruits, vegetables and nuts — fear an even greater labor shortage under President Barack Obama’s executive action to block some 5 million people from deportation.
Thousands of the state’s farmworkers, who make up a significant portion of those who will benefit, may choose to leave the uncertainty of their seasonal jobs for steady, year-around work building homes, cooking in restaurants and cleaning hotel rooms.

Who will benefit? It is a big question. Obama's amnesty proves to be the stupidest reform of the passing year. Thanks to Obama and Boehner!! Merry Christmas.

Like there isn't already a glut of people to cook and clean.

The newly legalized will just get on welfare and not work at all.

Obama deports illegals who do the work for wages small farmers can afford. Americans won't do the work even if the small family farms could afford to pay the higher wages. Family farms go broke and the banks sell their farms to big business at auction for pennies on the dollar.

Yeah, Americans are just fighting over these plum jobs in hotels and restaurants.

:rolleyes-41:

In those parts of the country that aren't yet invaded plenty of Americans are doing those jobs.

Soooo... If Americans manage to do these jobs why should we invite some millions of immigrants to our Home?? I suppose the USA citizens are good at agriculture and strive for a quality of their products. But... we still accept idlers from Mexica without any adequate cause.
