A doctor in New York says you need to include zinc in the mix.

The New York doctor claims that his treatment - which includes zinc - has been very successful.

I don't know if the New York doctor is correct or not. What we need is to have a controlled study of his method, which includes zinc.

I wouldn't take the FDAs word on jack shit....They were the ones who prevented ER docs ffrom prescribing aspirin for AMI (heart attack) patients , through EMS personnel, even though they knew for several years, if not decades, that it was an effective short-term treatment.

Then there's the little matter of their preposterously lengthy and prohibitively expensive approval process, which assures that only the biggest of BigPharm companies can bring new medications and devices to market.....This has also led to the phenomenon of "orphan drugs", which are effective but treat so few people that they'll never recoup the development costs, so they sit on the shelf.

Fuck the FDA.
