SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — After sending migrants to Washington D.C for four months, Governor Greg Abbott says the first group has arrived in New York City.

A statement from Abbott’s office announced their arrival at Port Authority Bus Terminal Gate 14.

New York City is joining D.C as a drop off location for the busing strategy which Abbott says is a response to the lack of action by the Biden administration to help with the overwhelming influx of migrants showing up at the Texas border.
