Citing data from two recent polls conducted by CNN and SSRS, Enten highlighted that Trump holds a slight lead over Biden, with a 3% advantage among U.S. voters born outside the country.
During a segment on “CNN News Central,” co-host Kate Bolduan described Trump’s rhetoric on immigration as “harsh” and “extreme.” Enten responded by pointing out that Trump is not experiencing a negative impact at the polls on this issue. “I think a lot of Democrats are saying, ‘Oh, look at Donald Trump, look at what we call anti-immigration rhetoric. There’s going to be some backlash,’ I’m not quite sure that’s exactly right,” Enten explained.
