Seems the governing Socialists have suffered bit losses in municipal elections and the far right celebrating further gains. Are the French finally waking up to the fact that Hand Out Government isn't going to improve their lives? An interesting report among many - @ BBC News - France local elections: Socialists lose heavily
And, something to mull over the new female [hottie!] mayor-elect of Paris is a Socialist. That seems to follow a world-wide pattern of major cities leaning further left than the remainder of the country.![eusa_whistle :eusa_whistle: :eusa_whistle:](/styles/smilies/eusa_whistle.gif)
Are these victories enough to change the way France is governed?
