When did the Cold War end? I see only Russia only paused from the Cold War for a few years. Clinton made the mistake of thinking the Cold War was over, and he made China a member of the WTO as a developing economy so it could steal American jobs while barring American companies from competing against Chinese companies and he spent $28 billion ($50 billion in today's dollars) rescuing Russia from its economic collapse after the dissolution of the USSR so that Putin could come along to threaten America and its allies. If he had spent more time chasing interns around the WH and less time working on foreign policy, many of today's problems wouldn't exist.
