The third night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention continued to tout major star power at the podium and the stage.

In between impassioned speeches by political VIPs --- including former President Bill Clinton, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and 2024 Vice President candidate Tim Walz --- the heavy hitters of the music world lit up Chicago’s United Center arena.

Listening to Clinton, Pelosi and Walz speak would have been torturesome. It gets worse when you add in a bunch of mediocre musicians who think their singing makes them politically astute. But the low testosterone males in the audience probably loved every second of it. Joy, Hope, Imagine, we believe, never going back. If that isn't the most fucked up, meaningless platform of all time, I can't imagine what is. MAGA, for the issues everyone but Peter Pan cares about.
