If the "Gay Panic" defense is acceptable, how about the "Straight Panic" defense?

That is to say, a gay man is so repulsed by a woman's suddenly kissing him that he murders her.

Doesn't work that way. Since gay guys are just regular men doing weird stuff, their DNA still is intact & dominant. So that strong anti male dominance instinct wouldn't apply to a female making advances. They've learned to squelch their normal drive of anger, instead to accept male advances so that same squelching would apply to a woman.

This pre-fight sex dominance thing does seem to explain why a lot of guys doing gay stuff like rough sex. It's repressed anger & a form of fighting..while they still seek a hole at the lower end of their sex partner.

...IMO, if you kill someone,- gay-black-white-purple-----there has to be evidence that the victim was a possible threat...

So you're in the camp that thinks someone "putting the moves" on you requires self defense?

With hetero dudes it's a visceral thing. In the animal kingdom across all species, one male attempting to mock-mate with another is the first sign of aggression that usually leads to a fight to the death. It's in their DNA. Hetero men are born that way. Respect their orientation.

We don't excuse some guy killing another guy in a bar because 'they are born that way'.

Hell we don't even excuse a wife killing an abusive husband, let alone a woman pulling a gun and blasting away a guy who grabs her ass in a bar.

I don't care who the hell was making an advance on anyone- if there was no threat of violence, violence is not excuse as a response.
