The Stagell Interglacial (MIS 11) is an Orbital Analogue for the Holocene | GeorgiaBeforePeople
Due to earth's orbital geometry, global warming is going to occur regardless of how much greenhouse gas humans put into the atmosphere.
Earth is currently in a cycle of orbital geometry that mimics what occurred during the Stagell Interglacial (~425,000 BP-~362.000 BP). Earth was in a prolonged interglacial period and may be in one today.
Greenhouse gases do contribute to global warming, but the earth is going to stay warm anyway for possibly as much as 30,000 more years.
