GOP Gov. Jindal calls Obama's plan irresponsible

The lefties are out for blood, they think since the attack on Sarah Palin worked any Rep possible front runner they will attack with all they have. Sadly it will not work this time around.

so now you are against the federal govt sending money to the big easy....

Never said that, however Jindal is a hypocrite because he doesn't mind federal money when it comes to his state.

If you actually listened to Jindal's speech, it was clear that it was written for him beforehand and that Republicans who were in charge of this obviously must of not had listened to Obama's speech.

Hey Gunny, really torques you when Obama outdoes Bushie on his very first speech. Of course, anyone could do that, even Jindal.

how do you figure?? it was his old campaign speech,, he didn't tell us one thing we had not heard a dozen and a half times... jeez it don't take much to make you tingle does it?

WASHINGTON – Republican leaders continued their attacks on President Barack Obama's handling of the economy Tuesday, calling it irresponsible and certain to increase taxes and federal debt.

Responding in advance to Obama's televised speech to a joint session of Congress, top Republicans said the president relies too heavily on spending, and not enough on tax cuts, to try to revive the gasping economy. They said they want to work with Obama, and sometimes blamed congressional Democrats more than him. But their criticisms were sharp and plentiful.

"The way to lead is not to raise taxes and put more money and power in hands of Washington politicians," Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who gave the Republican Party's official response, said in excerpts released early. The massive economic stimulus bill recently enacted by Obama and congressional Democrats, Jindal said, will expand the government, "increase our taxes down the line, and saddle future generations with debt."

"It's irresponsible," said Jindal, who is eyeing a presidential bid in 2012.

Nice to see some still have some balls left.

Balls? Jindal has a slimy feel to him. And some of what he called wasteful spending, such as monitoring our volcanos, just shows what an idiot he truly is.

You've been feeling Jindal's balls?

I think YOU just showed once again what an idiot YOU truly are.

are there volcanoes in all 57 states.......

Should Yellowstone erupt, it was effectively be the same thing. An eruption like that of Mount Mazama would effectively shut down a third of the nation.

And of course, you monitoring it is going to change that outcome ...:eusa_whistle:

Just heard Michael Steel say that obama has spent 36 BILLION DOLLARS A DAY since he took office. Does ANYONE have ANY idea how much money that is? How in the name of comprehension can that be "fiscally responsible?"

They are scared because a Republican was actually able to respond to Democrat without using the following words: abortion, homosexual, or marriage. The GOP is finally getting a handle on its message. That scares the hell out of Democrats. the Smoke and Mirrors game of hope and change and a message built on soaring rhetoric only goes so far. At some point there is going to have to be a message of substance and that is where the Democrats are fucked.

well Gunny, if we have an extra days notice we might be able to get away from an explosion that would wipe out most of the western hemisphere

:cuckoo:

Actually dimwit, it doesn't matter to me one bit. Don't confuse the fact I think you are about as politically stupid as it gets and your choice for President isn't much better with me caring about anyone.

He's been in office for a month with alot of money being spent in a small amount of time.

Such dishonesty by using such numbers at this point.

how is it dishonest when it is the truth

you are the dishonest one

I didn't realize Jindal was as bad as Obama. Can't America get a break?

Whether you like to admit it or not, Obama had a good speech tonight and it was quite refreshing considering what we had for the last 8 years.

Admit that Obama made a good speech? Were Obama to deliver 100% on everything that he spoke on tonight, these people would cry because he did not deliver on 110%.

If Obama delivered on 100% of what he said, we would cry because America would be in shambles.
