Gov Responds After NFL Threatens Future TX Super Bowls Over Bathroom Bill
--------------------------------------------------

At least one state has grown a pair and doesn't put up with all p c bs.

It's about time people stand up to progressive bullies. These assholes need to be put on notice.

Don't worry. We have noticed Trump's failure to even understand what the presidency requires, his lies, his tantrums, his childish tweets.

Yea, I know you hate those childish and moronic tweets from the President.

Obama is a piece of shit and always will be.

"Cool clock, bro!"

It's a suitcase clock that looks like a television miniseries version of a bomb...

Smh, if you don't think Obama is a piece of shit...you are too dumb for life.

NFL viewership is falling already. The NFL is in business to make money. Any business that involves itself in politics is crazy. Play the games and stay out of anything controversial. You are always gonna piss people off when you take any kind of a stand.

What's funny is nobody gives a damn how they make billions and aren't even taxed for it, but then want to bitch over Churches not paying taxes.

Get rid of school sports. They cost too much and are irrelevant to education.

before Technology I might agree with you, but in todays world and being the 21st century of lazy asses, kids today need Gym class, sports etc because when they get home they sit on the computer all day, or play video games all day and the Country wonders why we have a generation of fat asses.

I paid a hefty part of Safeco Field in Seattle I am sure. Corporate-government collusion is okay in some cases in the left's opinion.

No, we will not "get rid of school sports," Poindexter. They are highly educational and play an important role in many communities. Maybe you're new to America?

Well, considering that the NFL has decided on host cities through 2021, and none of them are in Texas, there really isn't much of an issue here. Abbott can afford to talk tough now, there isn't anything at risk.
Even if there were, fuck the NFL.

Who the hell do those bastards think they fucking are to try to dictate to an entire state to have unisex bathrooms?

They aren't really dictating anything. The NFL as an organization is free to choose where they would like to hold their events. And, the state is free to choose how they handle bathrooms. If the NFL doesn't like the rules of the state, they can choose someplace else. Isn't that what you conservatives always say, let businesses be run without any interference from the state? Forcing the NFL to pick a state or not is interfering.
This is a taxpayer funded organization paying upwards of $7b over the last 20 years for stadiums and renovations.

46% of the costs of the franchise.

The NFL is hardly a private business.

When they start paying for the entire franchise, including but not limited to the infrastructure and associated costs to provide the roads and maintenance leading to these stadiums.

The NFL should pick up the costs if they wish to dictate without interference.

You want to pull out of a State and leave an empty Stadium. Sure. I'm with you. Feel free.

When you pay for the continued maintenance of this facility and the roads leading to it whether you stay or go.

Remember. You didn't build that.

Oh. And bake the cake.

The perfect example :

NJ GIVES NFL SUPER TAX BREAK FOR SUPER BOWL, AND PAYS FOR SECURITY

Call it an $8 million gift.

When New Jersey landed this year’s Super Bowl, it gave the National Football League a major tax break. The state agreed to suspend the sales tax on all tickets and parking for today’s big game — a gift that will cost the state $8 million in lost revenues, officials said.

And that’s not the only cost the state is picking up.

American education fails at transmitting knowledge and understanding, so we should cut out every other goal it is saddled with until it gets its primary job done.
