The folks at the Reagan library uses 300+ goats to eat the underbrush and create a fire break. It made it much easier to keep the library safe during this last fire.

They paid to have that done...as do many other property owners.....If you've ever been to the Simi Valley area, goats are almost the only option....rocky, steep slopes, chapparal, lots of rattle snakes.

Yep, seems like people should use some common sense on where to build. I guess that's asking too much.
