Hamas admits intimidating foreign press who reported wrong ‘message

We got to those whose work was ‘immoral’ and made them change ‘one way or another,’ says spokeswoman, also acknowledging booting out journalists who sought to ‘film places where missiles were launched"...

No surprise there, but it is funny how there are still ***** and other anti-semitic filth who complain that hamas's casualty figures were totally legit, or that they were not committing war crimes...

I already debunked Hamas's casualty figures in another thread.

Anyone else want to share some thoughts how the freedom of information is secured in Gaza?

Pretty much sums it up.

It's good that Hamas admits to it and that a few journalists do as well as I doubt that many journalists, even after returning, will report on the kinds of threatening censorship or violent coercion taking place. Why? Well, they may be safe now but they wouldn't be able to return to Gaza. It's simply in the decision of best interests to toss off much of the Western journalistic integrity and continue on.

Taking that into account as well as adding Hamas is bent on Israel's destruction and have announced their intention not to extend the ceasefire (and when attacking even during the cease-fires) the journalists would probably be interested in returning to Gaza in order to report since it's a media baby and almost always at the top of the news.
