Errright. Coach Knight was the best college team coach to date. People loved him or hated him, similar to the divisional factions of this board, very little mixing of the two camps. Families could start fights during extended family reunions between pro Purdue and pro Indiana fans or pro KY versus pro IN

Numerous other coaches have won multiple NCAA championships, recruited against other schools on the Atlantic seaboard or out west, won as many if not more awards...and did so without throwing chairs or choking their kids.

Overrated was probably a poor choice of words however.
