No. I had a friend who went Full MAGA. We still hung around.

He also went crazy. He would close all the blinds around his house every night because he thought the fireflies in his back yard were government drones spying on him.

He died in his early 60s not too long ago unfortunately.

I used to be involved in politics as a kid. We would hammer the other side, and work hard to beat each other, but at the end of the day, we sat down and had beers together.

We have gotten too polarized on both sides. We need to dial it down.

Kind of tough with the Democrats making threats right and left including threats of violence for any one that votes Republican and especially if Trump wins.

Reminds me of 1860 when the after the attempted election interference by having Lincoln removed from ten states' ballots, they then started an insurrectionist war when the election didn't go their way.

Just yesterday I was at a group function when one of the arrogant libs started claiming that Trump supporters want to abolish the topic of slavery from school books. I’m not sure from which leftist media she got the little nugget, but I know for a fact that several of us in the group ARE Trump voters. No, I actually do most of the listening. I am from the South. Smart, successful people here do not generally vote Democrat and many that do still wouldn’t vote for Harris. Honestly, lawyers and educators are about the only successful group in my state that could lean left. I live in a right to work state. Very few people worked for unions. My family lived in a nice home and owned a successful small business. They didn’t buy into the government is here to help nonsense because they are smarter than people like you.

Poor people in my state are overwhemingly Democrat, not Republican. It isn’t even close. That is the thing you can’t seem to get through your thick skull. And before you ask, it doesn’t matter what state I live in because most Southern states have a similar voting demographic. Poor people vote Democrat and they continue to vote Democrat for the freebees. What they should do instead is to stop making excuses and take personal responsiblity for their own lives. That starts with weening off the government tit and voting Republican.
