Heisman Goes To The Player With The Most Hype....Not The Best Player

This is his first year as a starting QB unlike many of the others you mentioned.
yeah, but he's had all the training, all the experience with the playbook, and the receivers and coaching staff that rookies dont have. He has 3 years in the film room studying NFL defenses, 3 years running the scout team, seeing NFL defenses in practice every day. It's the difference in time between a HS senior and the CJ Stroud. Acting like it's not significant or that it doesnt matter is silly.

And LSU plays in the SEC, the conference who's won by far most of the CFP championships. Has the PAC12 ever won one? Have they ever even been close to winning one? There have been 40 teams selected to the CFP. The PAC 12 has less than 10% of those selections.... The SEC has over 25%.... LSU played more teams in the top 10 then Ore played in the top 25.
What is LSU's record this year in the SEC? 6-2. How many winning teams are in the SEC this year? 5 out of 14 teams.

The only teams LSU played with winning records in the SEC they lost to.

The only team Bo Nix lost to this year was Washington which is arguably the top team in the country.

He throws to rookie and 2nd year receivers unlike some other QBs like Purdy that throw to veteran receivers.

Missouri? They win against the top 10 team something Oregon doesn’t have unless you has played as many teams in the top 25, as Oregon has played teams with winning records

No...Oregon lost to the #2 team in the nation by 3 points.

So basically that cancels out Missouri bigtime.
What since when is losing cancel out a win? Losing to a good team twice. Is it better than beating a good team once that’s just fucking stupid

Only if you're stupid yourself.

Missouri turned out to be overrated.
Any good team that LSU played they lost to. And It wasn't even close.
When Oregon lost to Washington the games could have gone either way.
I noticed the difference that Bo Nix made to Oregon this year.....but you can't say the same thing about Daniels with LSU.

I'm afraid that when Daniels goes to the NFL it will become painfully obvious. I just hope the teams that tend to destroy QBs pick him and then let him start immediately, and watch him self-destruct like Zack Wilson. But it looks like Bo Nix is going to a decent team and they'll make sure he's not thrown to the wolves.

Once again.....the format for Heisman voting proves to be faulty.

QB Jayden Daniels (Who?) wins the Heisman.

The Arizona State transfer who ended up at LSU had a 10-4 season last year and a 9-3 season this year.

His team wasn't even in consideration for the playoffs, yet for some reason the voters think he's a better player than Oregon's Bo Nix, or Washington's Michael Penix jr....even though both of them had better seasons and records.
His team beat up teams like Grambling, Georgia State, and Army, but he lost to Alabama, Florida State, and Ole Miss.
We'll see what happens to him when he gets into the NFL and gets beat up. A running QB doesn't have much of a chance of lasting all the way thru a 17 game season. Just ask Baltimore's Lamar Jackson. A skinny 6'4" 210 lb QB that most tacklers can throw around like a ragdoll won't last very long.
Every tough game he was involved in this year he lost. Unlike Bo Nix or Michael Penix jr. Bo Nix has only lost this year to Michael Penix's Washington Huskeys and both games were by 3 points.

I have to admit.....his highlight reel looks impressive....but that's what most of the voters used to base their voting off of, because LSU didn't have games that were broadcast nationally like the other candidates.

You be the judge.....do you think he's the best player this year?

That applies to pretty much all awards.

Same with those "All-American" rankings.

Missouri is currently ranked in the top 10. Oregon hasn't won against anyone close to the top 10. If the best evidence of how good you are is who you lost to you probably arent that good.

What does that have to do with Love's ability or his development in comparison to a rookie QB? He's still had 3 years of NFL training. 3 years with the playbook. 3 years practicing every day against NFL talent that an actual rookie doesnt have. Even Stroud and Young who played on college teams that were loaded with the best college talent in the country practiced against guys who would never make an NFL roster for the most part. It's 3 more years of NFL film study (and not having to go to class). You just have more hours of the day to dedicate to your craft in the Pros than college, not to mention the fact that he's literally been alive longer.

None of your arguments are valid.
